For just $700, Splendour In The Grass promoters are allowing punters to experience the festival VIP-style.
VIP Gold Passes have been made available for the first time, with Splendour co-producer Jessica Ducrou saying the festival is simply getting in line with the overseas market.
“Many overseas festivals, and other Australian events, offer VIP tickets and it’s something our patrons have been asking us about," said Ducrou. "We withheld a very small allocation of tickets to provide it as an exclusive offer this year."
The Gold Pass will allow festivalgoers access to the central Gold Bar (next to the main stage), VIP toilets, the side-stage viewing area and use of the entrance's express lane.
Moshtix are selling VIP Gold Passes from this Friday, June 8, for $700 + booking fee, or a $350 upgrade to the pass for current ticket holders.
