Punk rock band Against Me! will be playing 2 sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne in January as part of thier Big Day Out 2013 tour.
It will be the first time Australian audiences will experience an Against Me! concert after lead singer and guitarist Laura Jane Grace (formally known as Tom Gabel) came out as transgender in May this year. Fittingly, the band will be showcasing thier most recent studio album, Transgender Dysphoria Blues.
The Big Day Out sideshow series will also see The Killers (sold out), Yeah Yeah Yeahs (sold out), Band Of Horses, Bloody Beetroots, Alabama Shakes, Crystal Castles, Animal Collective, OFF!, Sleigh Bells, Gary Clark Jr and Nicky Romero perform in major Australian cities early next year.
Tickets to Against Me! sideshows on sale 9am Thursday 11th October.
