The Sydney Festival, which celebrates art, culture and ideas each January, announced a new four year Principal Partnership with The Star venue. It replaces its long-term incumbent sponsor, Zip Industries.
Star is already a sponsor, but the deal increases its commitment. Festival director Lieven Bertels points out, "The synergies between our 'This is our city in summer' positioning, and the place that The Star occupies in Sydney all year round, presents many opportunities to take the festival to another level.”
