The world's largest under 18s festival is back for the summertime!
Summer is here and so is Good Life.
Good Life returns to Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne in February 2016 and will take place at all new venues – Brisbane Showgrounds, Melbourne Park & Hisense Arena, Sydney Showgrounds, and Claremont Showgrounds (Perth).
Good Life ‘16 is the ultimate day out, and exclusively for 13-17-year-olds. More than 20 of the hottest names in music from Australia and beyond will feature across four stages. Combine those artists with a Theme Park, a Water Park, a Sports Zone, and an Outdoor Cinema featuring all the hottest flicks – PLUS the chance to meet your favourite TV celebs, up close and personal! With an all-inclusive ticket covering five amazing zones, there’s no need to spend extra $$ on additional attractions.
First up: get ready to throw your hands in the air as Guvera presents more than 20 of the hottest local and international stars across three massive stages, with Good Life ‘16 focusing on more live music than ever before.
One of the hottest hip-hop stars right now is A$AP Rocky! The 27-year-old rapper landed two US #1 albums, and hits like ‘Everyday’ (featuring Rod Stewart) and current chart-topper ‘Good For You’, with Selena Gomez. RnB singer/songwriter Jeremih will have the crowd singing along when he performs his hits ‘The Fix’ and ‘Don’t Tell Em’, while Dawin will turn it up with his worldwide smash ‘Desserts’.
Canadian electronic duo DVBBS – known for the massive dance-floor anthem ‘Tsunami’ – along with Deorro, who recently teamed up with Chris Brown for the big party song ‘Five More Hours’ – will bring the bass for EDM fans. Rounding out the headliners is trap legend Marshmello and trance god Marlo. PLUS expect one of the world’s biggest trap DJs to be announced in January…
And the line-up just keeps getting bigger: Aussie bounce legends Will Sparks, Timmy Trumpet and Joel Fletcher (three locals who’ve each enjoyed top three singles), pop star Havana Brown; Amsterdam’s hardstyle hero Frontliner; plus Minimal pioneer Droplex.
MTV presents the all-new Geordie Shore House Party – with DJ Jam (official DJ for Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre), Generik and Some Blonde pumping out the tunes in the lounge room while you party around the house with stars of the show, Charlotte, Holly, Kyle, Chloe, and Nathan.
The wildly popular Incognito Hidden Braces Meet & Greet stage returns, giving you an exclusive chance to get up close and personal with your favourite stars of TV. Fans of ‘The Vampire Diaries’: grab a snap with Zac Roerig (aka ‘Matt Donvana’)! Catch Samira Wiley – the actress famous for cheeky character ‘Poussey Washington’ in prison comedy ‘Orange Is the New Black’. On the local heartthrob tip – none other than Sean Keenan, from TV’s ‘Puberty Blues’.
Head over to our Theme Park, featuring four hair-raising rides (different attractions in each state), from the Claw to Air Walker to Hurricane to get your adrenaline pumping. Cool off from the summer heat in our Water Park. Get wet in the foam pit or misting tent, or score your thrills on two massive slides and tunnels. We’re talking about a 50m mega slip and slide – dropping from a 10m height! Impress your mates at the Sports Zone, for street basketball, indoor soccer and the all new Weevo Bucking Bull challenge.
The Chillout Zone is where you can cool down, enjoy plenty of shade, and get pampered at the Dolly Beauty Bar & Lounge (with free hair and make-up touch ups). Or perhaps check out a movie at our Outdoor Cinema – presented by The 5th Wave, which is in cinemas from 14 January, 2016. It’s the place to hang, meet friends, watch a cult flick and rejuvenate.
Good Life prides itself on an impeccable safety record, with strict entry policies ensuring attendees’ safety. Parents can rest assured their kids are in safe hands: our previous events were highly praised by police, who applauded festival organisers and the behaviour of punters. Measures include ID and bag checks, breathalyser checks, metal detectors and a zero tolerance towards all contraband or alcohol. Each city will feature the Four’N Twenty SLAMS parent pick up zones, with even more parking this year and lots of public transport close by.
Grab your BFFs – Good Life ’16 is coming! Get your tickets ASAP.
