To celebrate the release of their fifth studio album 'Freedom Child', Dublin rockers The Script will be hitting Australian roads with three headline shows in April. They will be wowing fans in Melbourne's Hisense Arena, before going to International Convention Centre in Sydney. Their last stop will be at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
The Script's catalogue of hits has surely taken the airwaves by storm. With anthems like "Man Who Can’t Be Moved", "Breakeven", "Hall of Fame (ft. will.i.am)", "For the First Time" and "Superheroes" lording the UK and international charts, there's no denying that they're one of the biggest bands in the planet today—and they show no signs of slowing down.
Just this month, the trio of Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power released 'Freedom Child'. It features the lead single "Rain" as well as "Mad Love" and "Written in the Scars" among others.
Joining the band on their Australian return will be JP Cooper, who is best known for lending his soulful vocals to Jonas Blue's "Perfect Strangers". The singer-songwriter is set to drop his debut album 'Raised Under Grey Skies' this October via Island Records.
