Sarah Millican Tours 'Control Enthusiast' To Australia In February Next Year

Award-winning English comedian Sarah Millican is returning to Australia with her brand new show 'Control Enthusiast'. The February tour will kick off at Hamer Hall in Melbourne, then will head to the State Theatre in Sydney, moving to Brisbane City Hall and then to the Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide. Perth's Riverside Theatre will see the final show. Before hitting Aussie roads though, she will first be doing a trio of NZ shows happening at Christchurch's Isaac Theatre Royal, Wellington's The Opera House and Auckland Town Hall.

Following on from her fifth sold-out UK tour, 'Control Enthusiast' marks ten years since Sarah cemented her reputation as one of the leading lights of the British Comedy scene by winning the Best Newcomer Award at the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe. In the subsequent years, Sarah has gone on to host three series of her critically-acclaimed BBC2 series 'The Sarah Millican Television Programme'—for which she received two BAFTA nominations—and has been regularly seen on primetime shows such as 'QI', 'Live at the Apollo' and 'The Royal Variety Performance'.

October last year saw the release of her first book 'How To Be Champion' which is part autobiography, part self-help, part confession, part celebration of being a common-or-garden woman. It became The Sunday Times' No.1 Bestseller upon release and shot back into the bestseller list when published in paperback in May 2018. Sarah is also a founder member of Standard Issue—a smart, funny magazine style podcast made for women by women.
