Indie rockers The Temper Trap are playing a trio of intimate shows this December off the back of the 10th anniversary of the release of their debut album 'Conditions'. Playing the album in its entirety, the band will kick off the tour at Melbourne's The Forum, then will proceed to Brisbane's The Tivoli Theatre for a pair of shows before wrapping up at Sydney's Enmore Theatre.
The 'Conditions 10th Anniversary Tour' announcement came along with the equally exciting news that 'Conditions'—which first hit the shelves on 19 June, 2009—will be re-released on limited edition white vinyl (out July 19 through Liberation Records), featuring a commemorative inner sleeve with imagery from the early days of the band's career. Available for pre-order, this special issue is a must-have for any vinyl collector.
The success of atmospheric anthem 'Sweet Disposition' is indisputable—with 5x Platinum sales in Australia, 3x Platinum sales in the UK (1 million+ sales), and Platinum sales in the United States (1 million+ sales). The single has, to date, collected over 225 million streams on Spotify alone. Follow up hit singles 'Fader' (2x Platinum) and 'Love Lost' (Platinum), further pushed the band to higher success.
Since 'Conditions' launched The Temper Trap onto the global stage, the band have moved overseas, started families, confirmed tour muso Joseph Greer as an official band member, slayed sets at some of the biggest festivals in the world, released a further two #1 ARIA Albums, and announced the departure of Lorenzo Sillitto from the band, and extensively toured globally.
