Steel Panther command Aussie stages with their 'Heavy Metal Rules Tour' this May

American rockers Steel Panther have announced an Australasian leg of their 'Heavy Metal Rules Tour' this May. Following a New Zealand kickoff happening at Auckland's Powerstation, the tour will roll its way to Melbourne's Margaret Court Arena. Brisbane's Eatons Hill Hotel and Sydney's Hordern Pavilion will be the next stops. The final show will be held at the Newcastle Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Formed in 2000, Steel Panther are Michael Starr (lead singer), Satchel (guitarist), Lexxi Foxx (bass) and Stix Zadinia (drums). Hailing from Los Angeles, the epicenter for rock n' roll in all its debauchery and glamour, Steel Panther have established themselves as the world's premier party band, melding hard rock virtuosity with parody and criminally good looks. They are a global phenomenon with four full-length albums, world tours, platinum-level YouTube status and a #13 debut for their new album 'Heavy Metal Rules' on the ARIA charts. Rolling Stone avowed, "There's a reason Steel Panther have transcended their origins as a cover band playing the Sunset Strip," while Metal Sucks declared, "Steel Panther's concept is genius…their songwriting is…preposterously snappy—and relatable."

Special guests Sevendust, on the other hand, were last here in 2019 off the back of their 2018 album 'All I See is War'. Having been in the industry for more than 25 years now, Sevendust demonstrate a musical mastery that shows no signs of slowing down. Till now, the connection between fans and the GRAMMY® Award-nominated gold-certified hard rock outfit only grows stronger.

Grab your tickets and let Steel Panther, along with Sevendust, destroy all your expectations for a great rock concert experience this May!
