Avalon House

Avalon House is beautiful historic weatherboard building dating back to 1865, standing in an acre of grounds running down to the Ovens River. Just 30 kilometres from Mt Hotham and in the foothills of the dividing range.

It offers great accommodation, good food and a great atmosphere and is ideally situated for skiing, walking, bike riding or just enjoying the quiet beauty of the area and the great food and wines in the area around.

We have regular events throughout the main holiday seasons, such as music (local and international reggae, blues, jazz, classical etc), gallery events, functions etc.
