The Cricket Club Hotel

The Cowwarr Cricket Club Hotel was first established in 1880. Over the years there have been many changes with the present building being erected in 1930 in art deco style.

Many owners later, in 2011, chef and foodie extraordinaire Helena with her husband, all round front of house man, colourful character and raconteur Val, have fulfilled a lifelong ambition to own a good country pub by purchasing the Cowwarr hotel.

These two are icons of the hospitality business with over 35 years of experience in restaurants and catering from Frankston to South Melbourne to East Drouin and now at Cowwarr.
