Suitable for Ages
The Geoffrey Rush Drama Studio was re-named in 2010, in recognition of the graduate who now wears acting's coveted "Triple Crown" of Academy, Emmy and Tony Awards.
The refurbished Studio (formerly known as the Cement Box) has been one of the University of Queensland's proud achievements. There have been many memorable shows and innumerable amateur thespians have trod its concrete floor. Some have gone onto great things, including Lynne Bradley and Simon Woods of Zen Zen Zo, Robert Forster of the Go-Betweens, Bille Brown, and 'Triple Crown' winner, Geoffrey Rush.
