American Express Openair Cinemas will put a 'spring' in Melbourne residents' steps as it returns to Yarra Park this October. Providing access to Openair Cinemas beyond the traditional summer months, an exciting program of food and films has been revealed today including the Opening Night screening of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

The early return of the popular outdoor cinema this spring will play host to an array of festival-vibe
entertainment, with some exclusive benefits available for American Express Card Members.

Films
This year’s program is an exciting mix of recent box office hits and highly anticipated new releases
including Downton Abbey (25.10 & 27.10), Ad Astra (03.11) It: Chapter 2 (31/10), Rocketman
(10.10), Yesterday (18.10), Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (11.10) and many more!
Little and big kids alike will rejoice at screenings of family films such as The Lion King (12.10, 20.10),
The Angry Birds Movie 2 (26.10), Dora and the Lost City of Gold (19.10) and Abominable (02.11).
American Express Openair Cinemas have always been proud supporters of Australian cinema and will be screening three homegrown films in Melbourne this season: the inspiring documentary 2040
(15.10) by the creators of That Sugar Film on how to care for our planet, The Australian Dream
(22.10), a closer look at casual racism in Australia centred around AFL legend Adam Goodes and Ride Like a Girl, the inspiring story of Michelle Payne, the first ever female jockey to win the Melbourne Cup. For fans of cult classics, this year’s program features a throwback screening of one of the most quotable films of all time, Clueless, on 23 rd October (“As if!”).

Food
Melbourne favourite, Ladro will once again delight moviegoers with their authentic Italian Cuisine
including their delicious wood fired pizzas, calamari and arancini balls.

Drinks
Fear not, the refreshments are taken care of, thanks to national partners Giesen Wines, Urban Allery
Brewery craft beer, PIMMS and Enjoy Water, Australian spring water in reusable aluminium cans.
It’s official, Wine Wednesdays are now a thing! Every Wednesday, guests can sample the full range
of Giesen Wines (up to 8 different varieties) to pair perfectly with a selection of rom-coms. If you
find yourself a favourite, Happy Hour pricing will let you upgrade to a bottle without breaking the
bank.

Fun
With 23 events happening at Yarra Park, right next to Jolimont Station, the festival atmosphere will
be in full swing every weekend with an array of alternative entertainment; live music and DJ performances before the latest and greatest feature films light up the big screen. American Express Card Members are invited to relax and enjoy the full VIP cinema experience by purchasing a ticket to the American Express Lounge. Card Members will get their own bean bag and get comfortable with a cushion and blanket as well as some tasty treats.

American Express Card Members in GA can also enjoy 15% off selected tickets, complimentary
blanket hire and access to the American Express Garden where they can enjoy sunset drinks and
purchase decadent caramel popcorn.

Everyone can chillax to the max with the variety of seating options available and add a touch of
comfort to a night under the stars with a lounger, a Kathmandu camping Chair or a blanket which can
be hired online or onsite. Premium tickets to Prime Video Lounge include reserved seating on a

will go on to captivate audiences in Sydney and Canberra, as well as Auckland and Christchurch in
New Zealand.
