Charley Crockett & Sierra Ferrell

Love Police presents Charley Crockett & his band Plus Sierra Ferrell. A poor kid from south Texas whose ancestry traces back to Davy Crockett. Charley cut his teeth busking on the streets of New Orleans and the subway platforms of New York City.

Today, Crockett has honed a colourful stage persona with a distinctly retro flair, complete with vintage pearl-snap shirts, high-waisted slacks and a homespun, irreverent sense of humor. This May Crockett will embark on his highly-anticipated first Australian tour, bringing his rootsy take on Americana music to intimate venues in Melbourne, Castlemaine, Sydney and Newcastle joined by Sierra Ferrell.
