Experience the romance and passion of flamenco with El Vito Chamber Group members Nicholas Young, Internationally acclaimed, Award Winning concert pianist & ‘Young Steinway Artist’ & renowned 10 String Spanish Classical Guitarist Matthew Fagan who has toured with the Buena Vista Social Club and Billy Connolly continuing their ground-breaking 2018 tour collaborations including
sold out show at the Sydney Opera House.

The Group are joined by leading Flamenco Dancers Laura Uhe and Fernando Mira combining musical passion and innovative dance in an exciting new performance. There will also be Flamenco Dancers from Laura Uhe's school Flamenco Dance Melbourne.

International touring, Theatre, Film and TV flamenco dancer Fernando Mira has recently starred in Baz Luhrmann's production of Strictly Ballroom the Musical from 2013-2018 in the UK, Canada and Australia. He has also starred in Don Quixote with The English National Opera and with Opera Australia productions of Othello and Carmen in Melbourne and Taiwan. Some of Fernando's film and television experiences include the 1996 TV series of Man from Snowy River, Australian Motion picture Amy and more.

Laura Uhe has performed flamenco dance in Opera Australia productions of Carmen and with the The Antonio Vargas Flamenco Dance Theatre Company in Harvey Goldstein/Vic Opera’s international production of Carmen nationally. Laura has studied intensively in Spain and Australia with Master Teachers.

Music features Spanish repertoire from classical to flamenco, tango, and modern jazz infusing the exhilarating traditional flamenco elements of Spanish Guitar with classical virtuoso pianism by composers: Bizet, Rodrigo, Albeniz, De Falla, Piazzolla, Corea, & more.

Experience the fusion of exhilarating traditional flamenco elements of Spanish Guitar with classical masterworks including a flamenco interpretation of Bizet’s classic opera Carmen, Ritual Fire Dance - M De Falla, Asturias Isaac, Albeniz, J Rodrigo.
