Gianrico Carofiglio – A Talk

In collaboration with the Byron Writers Festival 2019, the IIC Melbourne is pleased to present a talk by Italian writer Gianrico Carofiglio at Elm Tree House.

Carofiglio was born in Bari in 1961 and worked for many years as a prosecutor specialising in organised crime. He was appointed advisor of the anti-Mafia committee in the Italian parliament in 2007 and served as a senator from 2008 to 2013.

He is one of Italy’s bestselling authors: his books have sold more than five million copies in Italy and have been translated into twenty-seven languages. His latest novel is The Cold Summer.

The author will perform at the Byron Writers Festival (2–4 August 2019).
