The Godtet residency returns Thursdays in January for 2019. Following 2, month long residencies in 2018, packed out for 9 weeks running, Godtet returns with an incredible and varied line up.

Each week will see Godtet play with different special guests including a string section from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, a horn section of Aussie greats, Simon Barker on drums, Sandy Evans on sax and Malin Bangoura on Kora.

Older generation greats and new blood bring an extremely diverse line up of vital and vibrant music including the broadest range of acts one could imagine. From Cuban religious music and dancers, West-African kora, large ensembles, electronic production, experimental rock and free improvisation, avant garde and modern classical, modern jazz and straight-ahead big band jazz to hip hop- all with supreme musicianship- this Godtet residency has music everyone needs to hear.

Line-up:

- Godtet w /strings
- Shazza-T and the Fat Kontrollerz
- Cricketers Arms Big Band

Visuals by the incredible artist Dark Cinema (Nema Amen) plus DJ Noname, Sydney’s tastiest underground selector.
