"Hanging Anchor at The Tote" is a charity event with funds raised going to the Whitelion charity.

The Stained Daisies bring a sound that harks back to the old school days of rock n roll. Rapidly climbing the ranks of the Melbourne garage scene and recently signed to Side Stare Music, The Daisies will be headlining the event, bringing their blues rock energy to the stage.

Yes Yes Whatever deliver a gut-busting burst of punchy and unyielding garage rock. Having supported the likes of Rathammock, Househats and Batz at Melbourne’s premier venues, YYW continue to win over audiences over with their self-aware and brazen personalities.

Plovers are the latest post punk/hardcore trio to enter the scene. With a strong debut EP and their recent announcement to support Gang of Four at The Croxton, we’re excited to have the noise rockers embrace the stage in support of an important cause.

Batz DJ Set will star Chrissy Aubry, frontwoman of Melbourne punk outfit Batz. When she isn’t rolling across the stages of some of the countries finest venues, she can be found behind the DJ decks ensuring the crowd are having a damn good time.

As well as the top-notch entertainment on the night, there will also be a raffle at the event with plenty of prizes to be won including alcohol prizes, denim vouchers, food and drink gift packs and more! All money raised from the raffle will go straight towards the Whitelion foundation.

Whitelion is a community organisation committed to helping at-risk youth in Australia, assisting them to break the cycle of disadvantage and giving them the courage to grow. Since 1999, Whitelion has been working with some of the most vulnerable and disengaged young people in our community. Disengagement causes these young people to lose their connections with the community, drop out of school, move into harmful pathways, and get stuck in a cycle of disadvantage.

Whitelion builds meaningful relationships with these young people, giving them the courage to believe in themselves and the opportunity to reconnect with society to reach their full potential and choose a better future. Whitelion has a full range of services and practical programs that go to the heart of addressing the issues faced by disadvantaged young people.
