Hank Williams Tribute 2019

The annual Hank Williams’ Tribute night, commemorating the anniversary of the demise of this iconic music legend, has been an important event on the Gem Bar’s calendar for a number of years now. This privilege has fallen consistently to the "Drifting Villains", who have acquired a reputation for providing a truly authentic rendition of the sound and spirit of Hank Senior’s music.

With Hank Ferguson (vocals and rhythm guitar), Peter Baylor (electric guitar), Ben Franz (steel guitar), Pepita Emmerichs (fiddle) and Andrew Scott (bull fiddle) forming the line-up, it is no wonder, with such a combination of expertise, experience and excellence, that each year audiences return to relish their moving and respectful renditions of Hank’s recordings. So, come one and all! You are invited to join in the enjoyment of the Gem Bar’s annual Hank Williams’ Tribute.
