Heinous Hounds Sunday Sessions

The group has a core membership featuring some of Melbourne's finest. We have been playing for a few years now. We started out doing Thursday nights at The Ding Dong Lounge then shifted to the Cherry B and have held a residency there for nearly two years. Lately we have made another home for ourselves in the Espy Basement.

Our Sunday sessions cover any thing blues or blues related. We can't resist a bit of Rock n Roll as well. We play the classics. Little Walter, Howling Wolf, Muddy Waters through to the Rolling Stones and CCR as well as everything between.

The band's core members are lead by Steve Lucas and feature Jerome Smith, Ash Davies, Dave Hogan and Matt Dwyer. It is a free for all, each member rotating turns to front he band. We love what we do. It doesn't get any better than that, or more simple.

This gig will be something special—the final and actual closing of the Cherry Bar that we have come to call home. It will be a wild ride.
