A native of Minneapolis, 23-year-old pianist Kenneth Broberg was a top prize winner at the 2016 Sydney International Piano Competition of Australia, and most recently won the silver medal at the 2017 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in the USA. Broberg has performed as soloist with the Royal Philharmonic, Minnesota, Sydney Symphony, Seattle Symphony, Dallas Chamber, Fort Worth Symphony, and Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestras, with conductors Ludovic Morlot, Carlos Miguel Prieto, Leonard Slatkin, Nicholas Milton and Nicholas McGegan.

His solo, chamber and concerto performances have been broadcast on NPR and ABC Classic FM radio, and his performances at the 2016 Sydney International Piano Competition feature on CDs released by Universal Music Australia. In this concert, he plays piano masterpieces by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and Debussy, and concludes with Ravel’s virtuosic Gaspard de la Nuit.
