As part of the Yirramboi Festival, Melbourne Central’s very own Little Library will house a multitude of language books from the Kulin Nations, offering the public a free book in exchange for one of their own, promoting literacy and encouraging the passing on of stories.

Those keen to hear first hand about the culture of Australia’s First Nations peoples can attend Storytime—an engaging and interactive workshop hosted by Jaeden Williams. Providing an insight into the language, culture and values of the First Australians, this initiative is open to anyone of any age.

Jaeden will share stories that have been passed down from his ancestors, highlighting the significance of shared history and contemporary Indigenous practices. Participants of all ages are welcome, however places are limited to 25 so please register your attendance.

The event will be at The Little Library.
