Indigenous artists represent their Country in the assorted colours of memory and season. In this stunning exhibition, they have pooled their collective output to present a rich and diverse view of their Homelands. The colours represent landscapes from the coast to the desert, from the north to the south. The importance of colour in representing Country and the significant Dreaming stories and food resources associated with that land is all made clear by the represented artists. We sense the changing seasons and the interplay of water and drought, the desert in bloom and the desert in dry season.
