Nectar by Lori Pensini features a combination of portraiture and landscape, with emphasis on the Wattle, Australia’s National Flower, and the Banksia, an Australian icon—both are major producers of Nectar valuable to the environment and an integral part of Aboriginal culture. Lori portrays the Wattle and Banksia as metaphors of the human form, in doing so she highlights and explains their personality traits. An exhibition not to be missed.
