When anyone talks about Gujarati Folk music that discussion cannot be complete without mentioning the legendary Praful Dave. After Zaverchand Meghani he is unequalled in his reputation as an artist and philosopher in Gujarati literature and music.

He has performed his unique Dayro and Raas Garba shows all over the world including at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in 2005 for the Celebration of Gujarat concert. Praful Dave also has recorded a multitude of songs for films, TV shows and also albums that he has released. For his contribution to the revival and survival of Gujarati folk music Praful Dave was given the Gaurav Puraskar award by the Gujarat State Goverment.

After almost four decades of recordings and performances, Praful Dave will be performing live on stage alongside rising stars Ishani and Hardik Dave.
