Meet the Senses

These April School Holidays, Woodgrove Shopping Centre invites customers and their children on a journey of the senses with two new engaging school holiday programs ‘Meet the Senses’ and ‘Kids in the Kitchen’.

During the first week of school holidays, from 8 April to 14 April, shoppers and their kids will be able to join in on an experimental journey of the five senses, where they can explore the weird and wonderful ways our bodies and senses work. Activities during this workshop will include:

Smell-a-vision – Children will be invited to put their sniffing skills to the ultimate test! Spin the wheel and match the test tube scents.
Sounds Like Fun – Our disco dome will carry children into a musical bubble.
Feelin’ Arty – Children will have their chance to get creative and let their imaginations run wild whilst building a series of sculptures.
Taste Bud Time – Children will be invited to bring their own flavour to the table and decorate their very own take-home placemat, whilst learning a few tasty facts about their tastebuds along the way.
Playful Art – Kids will sculpt and imprint with Playdoh to create amazing patterns and print designs.

To further heighten the school holiday experience, Woodgrove will supply a large-scale bubble dome during ‘Meet the Senses’ week.
