Discerning wine lovers should head south for the WA Day long weekend to enjoy a special event to
celebrate Xanadu’s new flagship releases.

Meet the winemakers in an exclusive masterclass in the Barrel Hall and be amongst the first to taste some very special wines—the 2017 Xanadu Reserve Chardonnay ($110), the 2017 Stevens Road Chardonnay ($80), the 2016 Stevens Road Cabernet ($80) and Xanadu’s celebrated Jimmy Watson
Trophy winning 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon, along with the latest 2017 Cabernet release. This will be the first opportunity to try the new flagship releases and possibly the only chance to taste the Jimmy Watson winner as it is near sell-out.

Head Winemaker Glenn Goodall and his team will also showcase some exceptional back vintages as part of Saturday’s masterclass, including the 2011 Stevens Rd Cabernet, awarded 99 points and Halliday ‘Wine of the Year. They’ll share their stories about crafting these amazing wines and how
they bring the flavours of their Margaret River vineyards to the bottle. Guests will no doubt understand why Xanadu is one of Margaret River’s most successful wine show winners of the past decade.

Following the masterclass, enjoy a special two-course lunch designed by talented head Chef Melissa Kokoti. Entrée will be paired with the 2017 Reserve Chardonnay and main course will be accompanied by the 2016 Stevens Road Cabernet. Xanadu’s acclaimed restaurant was awarded a Chef Hat by the Australian Good Food Guide in the 2019 Chef Hat Awards.
