Presented by Arts House for Dance Massive.

The theatre is transformed into a pulsating nocturnal universe as Melanie Lane’s exhilarating Nightdance returns to Arts House. Traditional dance forms are turned on their head as Lane and her co-performers move between exotic dance, techno, burlesque and pop. Join them on a transformative journey through sound, space and light and into the world of night-time entertainment.

As you navigate the social, sensual and cerebral goings on that happen in a club after dark, the lines between entertainer and punter become blurred—are the performers there for your entertainment or their own enjoyment? Are you the audience, a customer or a voyeur?

With an original score from UK music producer Clark (Warp records), light design by Ben Bosco Shaw and special guest appearances from local club entertainers and artists, Nightdance is an immersive experience set to challenge your perceptions of club culture.

"The most rhythmically breathtaking performance…hyper-modern and totally memorable." - Theatrepress

"Breathtaking in its scope and presentation of night life and its impact on the human body." - Popculture-y
