Osteoporosis makes bone fragile, leading to a higher risk of fractures than normal bones. Over 1 million Australians have osteoporosis. It affects both men and women and is most common in adults over 50.

Please join us at this consumer event on the latest information regarding osteoporosis with an impressive line-up of speakers who will present on the following topics:

- Dr Charles Inderjeeth (Rheumatologist & Geriatrician): Overview of osteoporosis including causes, medications and the different management options available.
- Prof Richard Prince (Endocrinologist): Tools for diagnosing bone and mineral diseases.
- Mr Tony Petta (Physiotherapist): Physiotherapy and falls prevention and exercise for osteoporosis
- Ms Deb Stone, a consumer with osteoporosis will present an account of her journey.
