The theme for 'Our Shared Home' environment Symposium is the importance of the protection and restoration of living ecosystems as a natural climate solution option with speakers from current cutting edge projects for the preservation of threatened Animals, Plants and Forests.

Speakers engaged are:
- Amy Coetsee Threatened Species biologist from Zoos Victoria
- Marc Freestone PhD Candidate Research from The Threatened Species Recovery Hub, Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria and Australian National University ANU
- Nature Conservation Campaigner Shannon Hurley from The Victorian National Parks Association
- Cam Walker from Friends of the Earth

Representatives from Citizen Science Environmental Groups:
- Maxwell Campbell, President of the Field Naturalists Club of Victoria
- Steve Neacher,President of The Friends of the Leadbeaters Possum

People who have dedicated their lives to the environment who will share with us their wealth of knowledge and what they have witnessed and learnt, through direct experience and observation and when relevant will share about activities for the public to get involved in to take action. Environment Groups will have tables set up with information to share, before and after the events.

Evening Concert: Earth Show – A Rock and Classical Journey across the Earth
For ticketholders of our evening concert, entry to the Symposium is included within the concert ticket price. If you would like to attend the concert—a celebration of the environment with music and visual projection, please check the link to purchase your tickets.
