Perry Keyes & Band

After a sellout show in the Winnebago Lounge we welcome Sydney's Perry Keyes back to the 'Van with his band on March 2nd. Showcasing songs from his latest album 'Jim Salmon's Lament' plus playing songs from his other four albums.

Perry has won accolades far and wide…in an interview with Tim Freedman, Peter Garrett is quoted, "I’ve seen him play the last four albums live, and he keeps getting better…Perry’s songs are so real, they ache with humanity. He chronicles life in the rough lane with a poet’s eye, and a detective’s nose for fraud and deception." Missy Higgins recorded his song NYE in 2014 and exclaimed at the time, "I’d never heard of Perry Keyes. All his songs just paint these beautiful, really vivid images of growing up in that neighbourhood and I just fell in love with his lyrics."
