Melbourne's hottest new swing band, Shimona & The Cat's Pyjamas is back again!
Shimona & The Cat’s Pyjamas is a lively Melbourne-based jazz trio comprising of vivacious Singaporean singer Shimona, sweet-toned clarinet player Amanda Jones, and effervescent gypsy jazz guitarist Adam Russo. Together, they create infectious toe-tapping mew-sic reminiscent of the vintage golden era of Swing.
Mantra Studio Kitchen and Bar is a melting pot for outstanding food, coffee, service and live entertainment. This multi-purpose venue includes performance and event spaces, and professional recording studio. The Sunday Music Session will be presented in the downstairs space, known as the “Chakra Room”, is a gorgeous area with high ceilings, decorative plants and large bar. The venue provides regular free music sessions on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons.
By Car: The venue is in a situated in an industrial site near the corner of Campbell and Kent St. Drive into the site where there is lots of parking available.
