On display are memorabilia from the fragile beginnings of the Australian Flying Corps to the war in Europe, with particular Tasmanian connections. Of all Australian battle fatalities in the Second World War, Army, Navy and Air Force, in all theatres of that war, over 30% were Australian Airmen in Europe alone.
