Sokquon Tran Paintings and Australian Artist Edition Prints

Original monochromatic oil paintings by Sokquon Tran capture a meditative landscape, imbuing histories painting tradition reflected conceptually within the art by Turner and Delacroix. Tran, depicts delicate distant hillsides and lakes captured within the morning mist through a delicate pallet of blue tones and grey hues. What Tran questions as an artist, is the transcendental and the sublime, revealing a potential mystery, which speaks of a greater presence and "that" beyond the landscape.

With a larger scale exhibition planned at our new North Balwyn location in the next month, Creative Framing are proud to be presenting a large scale body of work by a favored Wynne prize finalist.
Accompanying Tran's original paintings, is a selection of renown Australian Artist limited Edition prints, signed and numbered by John Baird, David Larwil, John Olsen and Charles Blackman.
