Sony Alpha Awards Exhibition

Over the final weekend of October, the Centre for Contemporary Photography will host the finalists exhibition for the 2019 Sony Alpha Awards. This exhibition will showcase the incredible imagery from the finalists of the annual Alpha Awards photo competition, which celebrates the greatest images from across Australia and New Zealand, captured on Sony Alpha cameras and lenses. Visitors will be able to peruse imagery from the nine categories: Astrophotography, City/Street, Landscape, Nature, Portrait, Seascape, Sports, Wedding and Youth.

In addition to this, on Saturday 26 October, Sony will present In conversation with Mark Galer. Between 1 and 1:30pm, join Sony Digital Imaging Ambassador and Alpha Awards judge, Mark Galer for an in-depth conversation about this year’s Portrait Category entries as well as insights into portrait photography.
