Suey McEnnally’s much-anticipated solo exhibition Natural Wonders will be officially opening this Saturday evening at The Studio Gallery and Bistro.

Suey is a NSW based artist renowned for her large-scale, luminous and rich textured oil pastel landscapes. Winner of the Paddington Art Prize for Australian Landscape in 2012 and finalist in many significant prizes such as the Dobell and Sulman, Suey’s work also hangs in the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Suey is recognised as one of Australia’s leading contemporary landscape artists, sought after by art lovers and collectors everywhere.

In the artist’s words…

"This exhibition celebrates those events in the natural world that amaze and delight. To see the desert go from dust to a massive flowering as far as the eye can see or the tidal wetlands jumping with life is to be awed by the creative power of these natural wonders. I have lived, camping and drawing in these landscapes, soaking in colour and light and have tried to share the experience in the unfamiliar medium of paint."

Suey McEnnally 2019

We are proud to present Suey’s latest exhibition, Natural Wonders, featuring striking landscapes of WA wildflowers and more in the medium of oil paint on canvas. This exhibition is a pleasure to view and an event not to be missed.

The Studio Gallery and Bistro warmly invite you to the opening of Natural Wonders at 6:00pm Saturday 30th March. You’ll have the chance to meet and chat with Suey whilst enjoying the show with drinks and canapés from the Bistro.
