The Odditorium

The Odditorium brings an authentic vaudeville experience to Midsumma. In a 60-minute cabaret, The Odditorium fuses traditional and unique performance mediums with modern twists and turns, and this season brings together some of the most talented circus, cabaret and burlesque performers from the LGBTIQ+ community in Australia and beyond.

Starring and co-produced by The Quizzical Mr Jeff and Sophie deLightful, the production will also feature multi-talented UK circus performer, Nat Lunatrick alongside special guests. Combining experience from touring all over the world and possessing high-level skills in cabaret, circus, burlesque and theatre, this
troupe will blow your minds, warm your hearts and tickle your funny bones.

The first production of The Odditorium ran in January 2018 and was extended due to popular demand, earning critical acclaim from reviewers and audience alike. Weekend Notes described it as “A spectacular revival in the true vaudevillian style!” while Theatre Press said, “Immersive…sensational…packed full of beautiful simplicity, daring feats of showmanship and pure imagination.”
