Emotions can be confusing, uplifting, awkward. Like an unexpected house guest, they turn up when you least expect it and often stay longer than you would like. In a world that prioritises logic and reasoning, our emotions can often make us feel irrational. We struggle against them, bottle them up, or feel overwhelmed when they explode from within, seemingly beyond our control.

This half-day workshop is a journey through the emotional life of humans. By exploring the role and learning to identify our emotions, we can begin to discover and change how they impact our thoughts, choices and actions in life. We will leave with practical strategies to notice, shift and shape our emotions, so that we can get back in the driving seat of our emotional life.

This workshop is facilitated by Dr Jarrod White, Clinical Psychologist at The Mind Room.
