An anti-slam for poets, encouraging new and local work! All work must either be brand new and never before performed to an audience, or specifically about the area in which the competition takes place. Winner takes the pot and is decided by competitors, who get one vote each. Maximum of 15–20 competitors, competition entry of $10 to contribute to the winner's pot. Max time limit of 3 mins 30 secs per performer, competitors disqualified for going over (even by 1 sec). Audience entry is free. Tie breakers decided by host.
