Campbell Diamond – Classical Guitar

Campbell Diamond is an internationally award-winning classical guitarist originally from Dubbo and now based in Germany. He studied with Timothy Kain and Minh Le Hoang at the ANU School of Music in Canberra before travelling to Europe for further studies in Cologne and Paris. He has won major prizes at more than 30 international competitions, most recently 1st prize at the 24th Vienna International Guitar Competition Forum Gitarre Wien.

He has given concerts in 25 different countries in Europe, Australia, Asia and South America. He has performed and taught at many of the world’s most prestigious guitar festivals and conservatories including Berlin International Guitar Festival, Paris International Guitar Festival and Sao Paulo Conservatorio Musical. In this concert he performs virtuosic works by Mertz and Paganini, transcriptions of Telemann, and music from Venezuela and Brazil.
