About the Artists:
Colin Offord is a singer, musician, improvisor, composer, instrument inventor and visual artist. His music has taken him around the world many times, performing in festivals, concert halls, music venues, remote Pacific islands, in outback towns, caves, schools, universities, and in the Redlands and the islands.
Barbara Jeffrey is a singer, songwriter and harpist who combines her classical training with Folk influences to produce a unique sound. Barbara describes her style as Nouveau Folk; whilst the harp is known as a fairly traditional instrument, it is capable of a variety of music styles combined with her beautiful voice.
How to Get There:
Coochiemudlo Island is a 40-minute drive from Brisbane city. Ferries depart every half hour from Victoria Point – check Amity Trader website for timetable and details. The last ferry departs Coochiemudlo at 10:15pm.
This pre-Christmas event offers the opportunity to both reflect and celebrate. Gates open at 3 pm. Please bring your own picnic, chairs and tables.
