Join us for an afternoon of laughs and literary banter with Morris Gleitzman, interviewed by Sarah Macdonald. Morris is a bestselling children’s author whose books explore serious and sometimes confronting subjects in funny and unexpected ways. He began his career as a writer with The Norman Gunston Show, and became well- known through his columns in The Age, Sydney Morning Herald, and Good Weekend, and is currently working on the final book in the Once series of children’s novels set during the Second World War. Morris’ influence as a storyteller and thinker reaches across generations. As the previous Australian Children’s Laureate Morris has continued to promote the importance of reading, creativity and story in the lives of young Australians.
