Guitarist Johannes Möller has a modern take on classical music. Acquiring his skills in both performance and composition at an early age, and in a free setting, has given Johannes the highly characterised and idiosyncratic voice that many listeners around the world have come to admire. Johannes’ instinctive urge to create has driven this high achieving performer to become an icon of 21st Century music-making.

In 2010 Johannes was awarded first prize in the Concert Artist Competition run by the Guitar Foundation of America (GFA), considered by many to be the most prestigious classical guitar competition in the world. Today he performs close to 100 concerts across the globe every year and has large followings across Australia, China, Europe and North and South America. An engraving of his name can be found on the walls of the Concertgebouw concert hall in Amsterdam (as a recognition of excellence by the Vriendenkrans Concours).

Johannes has earned a Bachelor of Music with Honours from the Royal College of Music in London and he has received two Masters degrees from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague and from the Amsterdam Conservatory.

While these achievements and awards recognise the musical calibre of this international concert player, Johannes is known primarily for his composition skills.

Enjoy a magical night of classical music performed by one of the world’s top guitarists.
