Celebrate the Year of the Rat as Lunar New Year returns to Parramatta in 2020 with an exciting program of food, dance, music, culture and art, for people of all ages and cultures.
Experience traditional and contemporary performances on the main stage, including a Dragon and Lion dance, fan dancing and the internationally-renowned Nanjang and Pan Korean Percussion group, before Midnight Pool Party take over the festivities with a fusion of electro, dance and hip hop music. Meanwhile it's entertainment all around, with the roaming God of Fortune and Goddess, and Sydney Yun Yee Tong Dragon & Lion Dance.
Foodie? Enjoy delicious food and drinks from across Asia including rainbow dumplings from Mr Wangs, fan favourites Koi Dessert Bar and exclusive Asian-inspired Lunar New Year cocktails in the Lunar Lounge.
Head to Lunar Land for family-friendly fun with a series of free workshops and face painting. Try your hand at drum-making and Chinese calligraphy, and learn K-Pop and hip-hop moves from the Dancekool experts.
See it all come to a close with a spectacular firecracker finale with music, lights and dance at 9.30pm in front of Town Hall.
