Composer, Freedman Fellow and Artistic Director of The Three Seas, Matt Keegan uses the Octatrack (a dynamic performance sampler) to inspire melodic and rhythmic improvised dialogue between saxophone and drums.
Against this sonic backdrop, Matt skilfully explores his full palette of otherworldly effects, crafted over the past 20 years of creative exploration accompanied by improviser and percussionist Miles Thomas.
An in-demand drummer for the likes of Montaigne, Japanese Wallpaper, Lior and Clare Bowen - Miles approach is expressive and unconventional. In this setting, his improvisations are perfect accompaniment to Matt's electro-acoustic sound world.
Expect the unexpected, a playful performance full of groove.
