Mums Raising Teenage Girls

The passage from girl to young woman is often challenging, not only for her but also for you as a mother. Mum is often the target of her daughter's frustration and sources of contention can erupt into battles. This session will show you ways to stay connected and create a level of harmony with your daughter as she and you navigate this challenging time.

This workshop will discuss:
- the complex nature of adolescent development;
- how to better understand the challenges your daughter is experiencing;
- the changing nature of your relationship and how it affects you;
- ways to stay connected;
- how Mums can be healthy role models for their daughters;
- the messages mothers are sending to their daughters.
