Whilst AI is helping to create deep fakes it is also heading off trouble by identifying simple forms of misinformation. What are the repercussions of the end of truth on politics, democracy, free speech and the way we engage with our ecosystems?

How does a deep fake really work anyway? If millions of people say that something is true, then is it? Should the legal system be protecting us against misinformation? Or should journalists be uncovering reality?
