2019 in an alternate universe: a shipping container on the border of Szágorgyarma [Saag-awr-dyor-mo: State of the Gyarma people]—a ‘liberal’ democratic country. Ma, Pa and Jasmin—refugees from a war-ravaged country—believe this to be the ground zero of a new life of freedom, prosperity and sanctuary.

But after Ma starts hearing noises in the ceiling, it becomes apparent that some things are too good to be true…
