Channel those chillaxing vacay vibes with the smooth acoustic folk hop sounds of multi-instrumentalist Ren Stone's second solo single, "Come Again".

Known for his enigmatic showmanship as the frontman of Australian roots festival faves, Rhythm Hunters and performing in bands like Chaika, and with Nicky Bomba, Ren Stone’s new solo venture is inspired by the conscious roots movement and his Indonesian heritage - both of which can be heard in this playful new tune.

Set to perform a string of intimate shows with his full band to celebrate the release of this single. “A lot of my songs explore deeper universal truths but ‘Come Again’ is really just a fun time about peace, love and community. My life is based around people, community and campfire jams, and this song reflects that very much.”

With a sound that elevates your mood instantly, Come Again combines light-hearted vocals, cheerful lyrics, infectious rhythm and island influences for a warm, uplifting effect.
A stellar line-up of some of the state’s finest musicians, the Ren Stone band will not disappoint. Featuring Tim Bradley (On the Stoop, Anna Salleh, Lolo Lovina, Fred Smith, Liz Frencham, George Washingmachine, Watussi, John Maddox Duo & more) on drums, Naomi Jones (Whoa Mule, Doc and the Delegates) violin and banjo, Elsen Price (composer, Bass Europe in Prague, leading Australian ensembles, Australian Arts Party, founder of NSW Music Advocacy) double bass, Susie Bishop (Chaika, Laura & Susie) backing vocals, Nicole Elliot (Salaka Ensemble, Ghana) backing vocals and percussion. All this, and perhaps a special guest or two on the night!

Supporting Ren Stone on the night is folk duo Laura & Susie.
Laura & Susie are a sister duo from Sydney whose songs are influenced strongly by the Celtic and Americana folk music from their childhood.

Laura writes complex, story-telling piano compositions that are eccentric and witty in their musical and lyrical themes, influenced by artists like Tori Amos, Regina Spektor and Joanna Newsom. Susie's songs are delicately fingerpicked on guitar with her pure vocals blending in themes of love, life and nostalgia, inspired by great songstresses such as Joni Mitchell, Kate Rusby and Kate Bush.

Joined on stage these days by double bassist Johan Delin, along with accordion, piano, violin and guitar, creates the backdrop for beautiful harmonies that weave together flavours of jazz, roots, Appalachian folk and more eclectic styles.

Get in early for tickets for this intimate performance.

Due to COVID-19 social distancing spacing, this will be an intimate show with limited tickets available.
