The Poet Speaks – Berta Brozgul In Recital

Tempo Rubato presents pianist Berta Brozgul in solo recital.

Born in South Africa into a musical family, Berta moved to Australia at the age of 12. She has established herself as a versatile and exciting performer, as soloist, chamber musician and accompanist.The recipient of many awards, she has performed throughout Australia and with such notable orchestras as the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. She is also a member of the award-winning Clarendon Trio.

Berta's program will include Robert Schumann's evocative 'Kinderszenen (Scenes from Childhood)' Op. 15 and Frédéric Chopin's beautiful 24 Preludes, Op. 28.

Bar open from 7pm.

Tempo Rubato is a classical music venue and bar in Brunswick. All profits go to the Piano Project, a charity who provide free piano lessons free children who have recently immigrated to Melbourne.

Tempo Rubato is an accessible venue with a gender neutral, accessible bathroom facilities. Card and cash accepted. Children attending with a responsible adult are most welcome.
