Wyndham Holi - Recipient of Victoria State's "Multicultural Award for Excellence – 2019"

Started in 2015, "Wyndham Holi", engages wider and diverse community and local organisations to promote community strengthening & engagement (cohesion). It supports Local, State and Federal government’s multicultural and diversity policies and strategies. Today the "Wyndham Holi – Festival of Colors" is the most participated event of Wyndham and western suburbs which brings people of all backgrounds and age groups (Kids, Adults, Singles, Families and Elders) and ethnic backgrounds to join together and celebrate.

Our Unique features bring more people to our event:

Wyndham holi is the first and only Holi event of Melbourne which won Victoria state’s Multicultural award for excelence for 2019 at the Governor house.
- VCA Wyndham Holi’20 is our sixth successive year.
- It has more than 40 community working members from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
- Today VCA Wyndham Holi platform attracts more than 12K plus crowds with diverse backgrounds and strengthens the community and has become the largest event of Wyndam and many western suburbs.

- Wyndham Holi platform is supporting and promoting the local, state and federal government strategies of Cultural Diversity and Multicultural Australia.

- Wyndham holi is the only holi event where ISCON Melbourne sets up a temple and does their world famous Rath Yatra and also has Fireworks as one of the attraction, which attracts more people to the event.
